Martin Robatti helps investor-backed companies unlock value by addressing leadership, talent, and operating model gaps that stall growth. With over two decades of experience leading global transformation in Fortune 500 companies, including international and Wall Street experience, and advising VC-backed growth companies, he launched FACTS Advisory. Before founding FACTS Advisory, Martin held senior HR roles at Citi and Bank of New York (BNY), where he led multi-year global transformations across workforce strategy, skills architecture, AI readiness, and operating model re-design. His work consistently linked people strategy to measurable business value and has been highlighted in white papers. He regularly shares insights through articles and interviews on workforce transformation, leadership scaling, and operating model design.

The Founder’s Journey: From Transformation Operator to Platform Builder
Martin Robatti is a global HR and transformation executive whose career spans early Chief Human Resources Officer roles in Latin America, regional leadership across more than 20 countries, and enterprise-wide transformation at one of Wall Street's most complex financial institutions.
Martin began his career as a CHRO in Peru and later Chile, where he was appointed to lead business turnarounds, organizational redesigns, large-scale labor negotiations, and major mergers. In these environments—often marked by volatility, growth pressure, and operational complexity—he rebuilt leadership teams, modernized operating models, and learned firsthand what it takes to drive results when clarity, capability, and trust are tested.
These early mandates became the foundation of his transformation approach.
He was later promoted into regional leadership roles at Citigroup, overseeing HR and workforce strategy for Operations and Technology organizations across more than 20 international markets. In this capacity, Martin led multi-country operating model transformations, scaled shared services platforms, strengthened leadership and succession pipelines, and partnered closely with senior business and technology leaders to support regulated, global operations at scale.
Martin subsequently joined BNY Mellon, where he held multiple Global Head of HR roles spanning Technology Infrastructure, Operations & Technology, Software Engineering, and Enterprise Transformation. At BNY, he partnered with C-suite leaders and McKinsey to co-design and implement the firm's Platform Operating Model, led enterprise workforce and skills transformations, introduced AI-enabled talent intelligence capabilities, and supported large-scale organizational modernization initiatives impacting thousands of employees globally.
Across these roles, a consistent pattern emerged: transformation succeeds or fails not because of strategy or technology alone, but because leadership, capability, and operating clarity do—or do not—scale with the ambition of the business.
